Japanese is old. Really hard.
i tried once to translate Kanji from picture, i found like 3 different meanings, and they just had 1 line difference xD
I'm surprised no one of you saw that star wars refference in this episode, kekw
If you think that is hard, imagine a whole language comprised of 100% Kanji
Which is why they came up with Hiragana and Katakana, although I don't remember which is which. One is apparently supposed to help us foreigners and the other is a more simplified form that relies mainly on the syllables and sounds without so many weird little rules where unlike English you can't just combine to characters because the words when put together form a completely different phrase than what they'd mean individually. I think that maybe those characters placed above Kanji in phrases and sentences are meant to help with knowing what way you're supposed to interpret it, but I've not studied the language properly so I can't say for sure.
I keep thinking what would happen if finally animators had enough of our bullsh*t with all the hate and so and said ''DIY" ...
Bakka !
Jobko-chan is cute, Queen Elizabeth tho.
Tho when you see that kind of kid in real life it's quite annoying.
Another Good Heartwarming episode!
"Tho when you see that kind of kid in real life it's quite annoying." ---- she is missing the twirly pigtail hair >< lol
Makes Purin look somewhat calm by comparison.
jobko and purin would be best friends
Neither one would ever admit it though
Oh I see what you did there. lol
the fact that serufu almost got it right guessing her name using american pres, turns out it was a british queen
School has helipad
TFW you fly in via helicopter for your first day of school...only to find out you landed on the wrong rooftop because you registered for the wrong school
Aaaw! They got another new member! :3 And yes Japanese is hard (well not for me but for others)... :/ Also, I'm loving the nicknames they're giving out. :3
I can only speak enough to confess my love to the student council president on the rooftop of the school (sadly never going to come in handy)
Reading/writing it? Out of the question!
Watashi wa Anata no... Tsuki desu! Tsuki aate kuda sai!
Well Tsuki = moon. What you are looking for is "suki" also you would say "watashi wa anata ga suki desu" not so sure abt the last part you wrote, as i too only have some basic knowledge of japanese.
Well Tsuki = moon.
Maybe they were trying to use the subtle reference to 'Tsuki wa Kirei' AKA, Natsume Souseki's famous 'I love you' translation :D
not so sure abt the last part you wrote, as i too only have some basic knowledge of japanese.
Tsukiatte kudasai = please go out with me
wouldnt get my hopes up high for someone who likes every of their comments.
but thanks for translating the rest though
Sad it's true T_T
Hammer of handkerchief ?
Sounds like a threat but it somehow worked out fine.
Do you wanna cry about it or do you want to do something about?
Can I just ignore it and watch anime, instead? >_>
She's asking if you wanna get hammered or if you will take the handkerchief.
she is to young to drink ><
She'd have easy access in mainland Europe...
Bruh you thinking of the verb "hammered" instead of the noun "hammer" 🤣
???
MC seriously needs to carry around a bottle of 3M liquid bandage spray.
nurse should always follow her
Going to the Nurse is just a part of the DIY club at this point.
lol basically
Good job!
Engrish wa sugoi.
Goodu Jobu 😂👍
NGL those kanji are easy to mix up. Especially if you leave the paperwork to an 11 y.o. I think you learn that one at age 14?
I got the Star Wars reference...
May the Foosu be with you
Time-stamp??
12:18-12:25 Discount Alexa mistakes "The Fourth" for "The Force" and mentions a 1977 movie... which was when the original Star Wars movie released.
What budget does this school have to warrant a helipad? Do y'all have some sorta Helicopter Flying club, or is this like the school in Eizoukan where apparently ANYTHING can be a club, what's going on?
Also, lemme guess, Japanese Prime Minister wants to visit your sch-nope, never mind, just some rich girl. XD
The elementary school that i went to had a makeshift helipad out in the open field, but the school was not rich. One of the student's grandpa just simply liked flying his grandson there from time to time 😅
My high school in CT USA had a helipad...it was even used a few times while I was going there.
Rich school?
But this school is basically typical Japanese trope of an elite school with a pauper section.
Having a pig as pet but mother makes pork tongue. Sounds legit.
a minor mistake :P
